University of Incheon is located in Incheon
which is immediately west of Seoul, the
capital of South Korea. Incheon is the third
largest city, with a population of approximately
2.6 million, and conveniently located in
relation to Incheon international airport
and Incheon international harbor. Incheon
has remained the premier gateway city to
South Korea since the beginning of the 20th
century.
As the representative university of incheon, the university of incheon, is taking its second leap forward owing to the support from the city with an international competitive edge, the relocation to new Songdo Campus and a status change into a national university. I am Park, Jung-Dong, director of the University of Incheon Incheon Institute for Korean Language Studies
Recently, as many foreigners take a profound interest in Korean language and Korean culture, the foreigners visiting Korea are increasing every year. The Incheon Institute for Korean Language Studies was established to introduce Korean language and Korea culture, facing globalization and internationalization in April 2009.
